Welcome to The Guide Shop, your number one source for all things Girl Guides. We’re dedicated to giving you the very best of Guiding goodness, with a focus on dependability, customer service and filling your Guiding needs.
If the goods are faulty, wrongly described or different from a sample shown to you, you can choose between a refund, exchange or credit. Your request for a refund, exchange or credit needs to be accompanied by proof of purchase and any claims should be raised with The Guide Shop within 14 days of receipt of goods. Items that have been used, worn or are not in original condition cannot be refunded or replaced. All special orders are non refundable and non returnable unless faulty. We do not refund for incorrect sizing, however we will exchange at your cost. We will not refund, credit or exchange for change of mind. Only items that were purchased from The Guide Shop can be returned. We will not accept items purchased from other outlets including Region Shops or Retail outlets in other States.
If returning goods by post, please include a copy of your proof of purchase, an explanation for returning the goods and whether you require an exchange, refund or credit, along with your details. Without proof of purchase, we may not able to exchange items at the current retail price and only current stock items can be returned. The Guide Shop is unable to refund freight/shipping charges, except in circumstances where the goods are faulty, have been inaccurately described or do not match the sample shown. We will charge postage for "Return to Sender" parcels.
Online orders are to be paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or via PayPal when placing the order. Districts may opt to use the "Pay on Account" option and then pay the invoice via BPay directly from their District bank account.
All Prices are in Australian Dollars and, if GST applies, inclusive of GST. Any fees and charges (including Delivery Fees) also include GST where applicable.
Placing an order
The Guide Shop accepts orders via our online store and we endeavour to process all orders within 7 working days of them being received, excluding weekends and public holidays. If necessary, you may cancel all or part of your order, provided you contact us by email before the order has been fulfilled and posted. The Guide Shop will not be liable to you for loss you or any third party suffers for a delay or failure to process your Order or deliver Goods due to inaccurate or incomplete details provided in an Order. Orders are not able to be collected.
Please ensure you enter the correct email address when placing the order. Once an online order has been finalised, a receipt will be sent to your email address. Please check your Junk and Spam Folders.
All orders are shipped using Australia Post, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.The average delivery times for Standard delivery are:
4-7 Business days for Australian wide including most country areas
7-10 Business days for WA, far North Qld and most of NT, outside Alice Springs and Darwin.
Postage fees are as follows:
Standard delivery Australia wide $2.50 - for orders subtotal $0 - $4.99
Standard delivery Australia wide $11.00 - for orders subtotal above $4.99
* Express Parcel Australia wide up to 5kg $22.

International letters $10.00
International parcels up to 3kg $30
We reserve the right to alter these prices if and when required. We will charge additional postage to cover the cost of bulky items.

Parcels are not able to be collected from The Guide Shop, Holt Street or any other location.
Personal Information, which you provide to us during the Order, will be kept and used for the purpose of processing and delivering your Order. Your details will not be passed on to a third party.
Unless otherwise indicated in your account settings or at the time you place your Order, Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT or The Guide Shop may send you marketing information.
